A new year…woo hoo! As I transferred my 2008 notes and birthdays to my new 2009 Franklin Covey I realized what a crazy year we have just been through. Some of the best happy hours, pedicures, and football games happened in ’08! Troy went to a Celine Dion concert!! And 18K+ miles later our lovely Jetta took us to some pretty fun places.
I didn’t make a 2008 New Year’s resolution. I am sure that if I did, I would have kept it – because I rock at keeping resolutions. I did make one for ’09. I am the new money lady in our house. That’s right, I am the banker. I feel like the year has already started off better under this new regime. Yesterday I came home to find the change jar out of place. After questioning my live in husband I found he took about $1 to feed the meter. After explaining that the change jar is in fact my long term investment strategy I feel like he has finally gotten on board with the financial opportunities my leadership has to offer.
